Fun in the Son News

HURRAY!
Our new Fun in the Son year is already off to a great start. As some of you may already know, we are changing the face of F.i.t.S. this year from a 5th and 6th grade youth group to a two year confirmation process. This means that we will be having more of a challenge but also we will be having a lot more fun. I am excited to embark on this journey to understand and define our faith in God and pledge our lives to the work of God in the church. Our first month in Fun in the Son: Project Confirmation will be focused on the Bible: What is it and how do we use it? This will help lead us into October when we will learn about the stories found in the Bible and how our story fits into this great big story! This first couple of months will be packed with a lot of informa-tion but also a lot of excitement. Below is our schedule for September.

Wed. Sept. 1 5:30-7:00p.m.- "Who wrote the Bible?"

Wed. Sept. 8 5:30-7:00p.m.- "Is the Bible true?"

Wed. Sept. 15 5:30-7:00p.m.- "Why does the Bible contradict itself sometimes?"

Sun. Sept. 19 Play day at Morgan Farm!

Wed., Sept. 22 5:30-7:00p.m.- "Is the N.T. more important than the O.T.?"

Sun., Sept. 26 5:30-7:00p.m.- Confirmation Meeting-6th Graders and Mentors

Wed., Sept. 29 5:30-7:00p.m.- "What is in the Bible?"
